Telemaque Lavidas

Chief Executive Officer

Born in New York, USA and raised in Athens, Greece, he holds a BA economics degree from Columbia University, NY. In 2003, he joined Lavipharm Laboratories, the R&D arm in the USA, as Assistant Project Manager. In 2006, he assumed the position of Business Development Director and in 2009 he returned to Greece, where up to 2013 he managed all commercial operations of the Group as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), responsible for five Business Units (BUs), Pharma Rx, ConsumerHealth, International, Wholesaling and 3rd Party Logistics, and pharmacy network services (Pharma PLUS). In 2013, he founded Mediterra, a fast-growing health food company based in NY. In 2021, he returned to Greece and he took helm of the Lavipharm Group, serving  as Executive Board Member and since 2024 as Chief Executive Officer. He is a member of the Hellenic Association of Entrepreneurs (EENE). He is fluent in Greek, English, and French.

Telemaque Lavidas represents the 4th generation of the Lavidas family in the pharma industry, while he continues to perpetuate the pharmaceuticals business know-how successfully.

Panagiotis Giannouleas

Deputy Chief Executive Officer

Born in Piraeus, he holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering from La Verne University, California, U.S.A.. He started his career in 1996 at Boehringer Ingelheim Hellas as a Medical Representative, he then became Head of the CRM & Business Planning Department, and at a young age he was promoted to Sales Manager for the local market. In 2008, he moved to Angelini Pharma Hellas as Marketing and Sales Manager. Since 2012 and for 7 years he served as the General Manager of the company in Greece and Bulgaria. In 2019, he joined Lavipharm as Chief Operations Officer & Country Manager of the Group and in 2024 he was elected in the Board of Directors assuming the responsibilities of Deputy CEO. He has served as a board member of the Federation of Companies active in selfcare medicines, while he is an elected board member of SFEE (Hellenic Association of  Pharmaceutical Companies). In 2024, he co-chaired the organising committee of the 3-day EEFAM conference on pharmaceutical management.

Vassilis Baloumis

Chief Financial Officer

Βorn in Athens, he is a graduate in Business Administration of the Athens University of Economics and he holds an Executive MBA from the same University. He started his professional career in 1992 as a Financial Controller at Papastratos SA, where he was promoted to Accounting Director. In 2004, he continued his career at LAMDA Development as a Financial Controller and two years later, he was promoted to Chief Financial Officer, a position he held until 2021. In 2021, he joined Lavipharm as Chief Financial Officer, also heading the Investor Relations Department.

Mariza Antonaki

Chief People & Technology Officer

Βorn in Athens, she is a graduate in Psychology at the American College of Greece (Deree College) and she holds a Masters’ degree in the field of Organizational Psychology from the University of London. She is an Associate Certified Coach from the ICF. She started her professional career in 1999 as Global Human Resources Consultant at Hay Group, with broad expertise in the Pharmaceutical sector. In Greece, she worked as HR Executive Manager at HELPE Group and as HR Director at Mitsis Hotels Group. She has also undertaken the role of HR Director and Internal Communication at the multinational organization Unilever.  In 2022, she joined Lavipharm as Human Resources Director and, in 2024, she was promoted to her current position.

Panagiotis Kousoulis

Chief Manufacturing & Operations Officer

Born in Elika Lakonia in Greece, he is  a graduate Chemical Engineer of  N.J. Institute of Technology, Newark New Jersey. Additional studies include Polymers engineering and TQM. He started his professional career in 1985 as Production Engineer at Liquid Carbonic Corporation USA. He worked his way in several chemical/pharmaceutical companies as a Process Engineering and a Production Manager and later as Manager of Operations.  In 1999, he returned to Greece and took the management of Lavipharm’s plant. In 2022, he was promoted to Operations Director and, since 2024, he holds his current position.

Nikos Ladas

Chief Scientific Officer

Born and raised in Larnaca, he holds a BSc in Biology from Montclair State University NJ, USA, an MSc in Biological Research Methods from Exeter University, UK and an MBA from the University of Limassol (CIIM). He started his career in 2002 in Regulatory Affairs and has since then been promoted in positions managing Clinical Operations, Formulation and Analytical Method Development, R&D Project Management, Regulatory Affairs, Portfolio Management and Intellectual Property as Chief Portfolio Officer in the Pharma Industry. He also served as a Board Member of Medicines for Europe. In 2024, he joined Lavipharm and assumed the position of the Chief Scientific Officer.

Artemis Papadaki

Chief Commercial Officer Hellas

Born in Athens, she holds a B.Sc. in Marketing from the American College of Greece  and a certificate of “ Executive Leadership Program” from Oxford University. She started her career in 1995 at  Misko-Barilla as Assistant Brand Manager and, in 1997, she joined MARS as Marketing Activity Supervisor. After her journey in Fast Moving Consumer Goods sector, she moved into pharmaceuticals at Janssen in 2000 as Product Manager OTC, where she subsequently held positions of increasing responsibility in Marketing, Sales and in various Therapeutic Areas.  From  2018, until joining Lavipharm in 2024, she held the role of Commercial Unit Director and member of Board of Directors.

Ioannis Sarigiannidis

Chief Commercial Officer International 

Born in Athens, he graduated in Chemistry from the National Kapodistrian University of Athens. He holds an MBA from the Athens University of Economics and Business and an MSc in Health Economics from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. He started his career in 2003 at Lavipharm Hellas as a Medical Representative and continued at Schering-Plough/MSD with increasing roles in Sales & Marketing in Oncology. In 2012, he moved to LEO Pharma, leading Brand Management in Region International with increasing responsibilities, ultimately reaching the global level where he served as Vice President, Head of Global Strategy.

Petros Charalambous

Director Manufacturing

Born in Athens, Greece, he holds a BA in Chemical Engineering from the Polytechnic School of Patras and an MSc in Environmental Technology from the University of Manchester, Institute of Science and Technology. In 1999, he started his professional career joining Lavipharm as a production supervisor of the transdermal manufacturing unit. In 2011, he assumed the responsibilities of Head of Production and in 2024, he was promoted to his current position.

Theodora Chavela

Director Regulatory Affairs  &  Market Access

Βorn in Athens, she is a graduate in Chemistry of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, specializing in analytical chemistry. She started her professional career in 2005 as a Regulatory Affairs Officer at REMEK Pharmaceuticals S.A. and in 2007 took over the management of the regulatory affairs department of ALAPIS S.A., as Regulatory Affairs Manager. In 2011, she continued her career at TEVA Pharmaceuticals Hellas S.A. as Senior Regulatory Affairs Officer, and since 2017 she has been a member of the regulatory affairs department of Lavipharm, initially as Regulatory Affairs Specialist and since 2018 as Regulatory Affairs Director & Head of Market Access. In 2024 she was promoted to her current position.

Xenofon Economou

Lead Internal Audit

Born in Ioannina, Greece, he holds a BA in Business Administration of the Athens University of Economics, a M.Sc. in Banking and Finance from the Piraeus University and an MBA from ALBA, Greece. In 2007, he started his professional career as a Financial Officer in the shipping company Naftotrade Shipping & Commercial and in 2012 he joined G&A Chantzikonsta Foundation. In 2015, he worked as Internal Procedure Manager in P.G NIKAS ABEE and since 2016 he exercises the profession of Internal Auditor. In 2018 he joined Lavipharm as Head of Internal Audit and, in 2024, he was promoted to his current position.

Tonia Kambouropoulou

General Manager Pharma PLUS

Born in Athens, she holds a B.Sc. in Marketing from the American University of Greece with additional studies in digital commerce in UCL London Management School and Black Belt certification in Six Sigma project management. She started her marketing career in 3M Hellas holding several managerial positions in sales and marketing for 11 years and moving into Novartis Hellas and OTC pharmaceutical industry in 2009, as South Europe marketing manager for OTC Derma category. She continued her career in the same company for 14 years following its joint venture with GlaxoSmithKline consumer company, spin off from GSK company and creation of Haleon company, holding different managerial roles in commercial but also functional departments, serving as a Leadership and board team member. She joined Lavipharm in 2023 as Head of BU Pharma PLUS and since 2024 she is General Manager of the group’s subsidiary.

Ilias Konstantopoulos

Director of Marketing & Sales CHC

Born in Athens, he holds a BA in Business Administration of the American College of Greece, and he is undergraduate of the MBA program of “Heriot Watt” Edinburgh Business School. His professional experience begun in the Mass market at Minerva Edible Oils Enterprises, but he evolved mainly in the pharmaceutical industry. In 2005, he joined L’Oréal Cosmetique Active as Customer Manager and he continued for 11 years in the commercial departments of Johnson & Johnson Hellas in several roles with increased responsibilities. His next career step was the position of Sales Manager OTC Division in Gerolymatos International. In 2020 he joined Lavipharm as Head of Marketing & Sales CHC and, in 2024, he was promoted to his current position.

Eleana Nikolopoulou

Director of Legal & Compliance

Born in Athens, she is a lawyer, a graduate of the Law School at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and she holds a LL.M. from the University of Munich. She is also an accredited mediator and a certified DPO. She started her professional career in 2000 as Legal Advisor at the construction company Hochtief. From 2002 to 2019, she was a legal advisor at companies active in the finance sector, initially at the insurance company Eurolife, followed by Eurobank and Viva Wallet. She joined Lavipharm in 2020 as Head of Legal & Compliance and, in 2024, she was promoted to her current position.

Ligia Panaitescu

Director of Research & Development

Born in Cluj, Romania, she is a graduate of the Chemical Engineering Department at the Polytechnic School of the “Babes-Bolyai” University of Cluj, with a specialization in the Technology of Organic Substances. She also holds a master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Technology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and an MBA from Alba Graduate Business School of the American College in Greece (ACG). She started her professional career in 1994 in the R&D department at Lavipharm, initially as R&D Scientist in Transdermal Delivery Systems and then, as R&D Manager. She continued her career at Famar as Head of New (Dermocosmetic) Product Development and Septona as R&D Director. In 2019, she retuned to Lavipharm as R&D Director. 

Dr. Emmanouil Petrou

Head of Medical Affairs

Born in Piraeus, Greece, he received his Medical Degree from Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic. He completed the specialty of Cardiology at the Onassis Cardiac Surgery Center in Greece, he earned a Master’s Degree in Health Management from the University of Piraeus, and he is a PhD candidate at the University of Athens Medical School. In the Pharmaceutical Industry, he has gained experience at Angelini Pharma Hellas, as Medical Advisor, at GE Healthcare, as Medical Manager Southeastern Europe, and at Innovis Pharma, as Senior Medical Advisor. Currently, he is holding the position of Head of the Medical Affairs Department at Lavipharm Hellas S.A.

Aristeidis Polyvos

Director of Marketing Rx & Oncology

Born in Athens, he graduated from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) with a Bachelor degree in Biology (BSc). He also holds an International MBA degree with a focus on Strategy and Marketing from the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). He started his career in 2001 as a Medical Representative at Boehringer Ingelheim Hellas. In 2005, he was promoted to Product Portfolio Manager Cardiovascular and, in 2013, he took over as BU Manager Oncology & Hepatitis. In 2014, he continued as Product Portfolio Manager Cardiovascular at Angelini Pharma Hellas and, in 2016, he took over as National Sales Manager Hospital Department. From 2018 until 2019, he took over as Marketing Hospital & Business Development Manager. In 2020,  he joined Lavipharm as Head of Marketing Rx and, in 2024, he was promoted to her current position.

Roxani Skartsiouni

Director of Supply Chain & Planning

Born in Lamia, she is a graduate of the School of Mechanical Engineering of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, with a specialization in the Industrial Management, and holds an MBA from Alba Graduate Business School of the American College in Greece (ACG). She started her professional career as Procurement Planning Manager at Unipak Hellas, member of INDEVCO Group of Companies. In 2016, she joined Lavipharm as Head of Production Planning and since 2022, she is heading Group’s Supply Chain.

Dr. Katerina Tsardaka

Business Development and Acquisitions Director

Βorn in Athens, she is a graduate of the School of Pharmacy of the Kapodistrian University of Athens and holds a PhD from the University of Bath, UK. She started her professional career at Lavipharm’s R&D in 1991, contributing to the development of a wide range of products. In 2000, as Associate Director at Lavipharm’s Research Centre in NJ, USA, she was responsible for the development of OCR products. In 2002, as Intellectual Property, Research and Scientific Support Manager, she assumed, among others, the coordination of Lavipharm’s patents portfolio. In 2008, she joined Lavipharm’s Commercial operations as Business Development Manager, managing collaborations with third parties and supporting in-licensing and out-licensing activities. In 2012, she was promoted to Business Development Director and undertook the responsibility of the company’s exporting activities, also holding the position of Head of BU International. Since 2021, as New Ventures and Corporate Business Development Director, she has been driving the company’s growth in the short, medium and long-term future. In 2024 her duties have been broadened to her current position.

Thomas Tseronis

Director of Sales Rx 

Born in Athens, he is a graduate of  Sports Science from the National Kapodistrian University of Athens and holds an Executive MBA from the University of Piraeus. He entered the pharmaceutical industry in 2014 as a Medical Sales Representative Rx in the sales department of Angelini Pharma Hellas SA and was subsequently promoted to the position of District Manager Rx. In 2020, he continued his career at Lavipharm Hellas as Head of Sales Rx and,  in 2024, he was promoted to his current position.

Alexandros Tsitomeneas

Director International Marketing & Sales

Βorn in Athens, he is a graduate of the School of Pharmacy of the Kapodistrian University of Athens and holds an MBA from the ALBA Graduate Business School. He started his professional career as Medical Sales Representative in Wyeth Pharmaceuticals in 2008, transitioning in Pfizer Hellas in 2009, where he held Sales & Marketing roles in the Specialty Care Business Unit. In 2015, he continued as Public Affairs & Market Access Associate in Elpen Pharmaceuticals and in 2016 he moved to the Business Development department as BD Manager, being responsible for In-Licensing for the Elpen Group (Elpen, Win Medica, Aenorasis).  His next career step was in Uni-Pharma S.A., where in 2023 he assumed the role of Business Development, Licensing & Alliances Manager for Greece, the EU and Latin America. He joined Lavipharm in February 2024, heading the International Business Unit and today he is Director International Marketing & Sales.

Bill Tsonis

Director QA & QC, Qualified Person (QP)

Born in Kalamata, Greece, he holds a BSc degree in Biology from Loyola University of Chicago. He started his professional career in 1989 as a Microbiologist at Organon Teknika, in the Quality Control laboratory of vaccines and later was promoted to Laboratory Supervisor. In 1994, he continued his career at Hudson RCI as a Laboratory Manager and in 1999, as a Quality Assurance Manager. Later, in 2000, he served as a Compliance Manager at Abbott Laboratories. After his return to Greece, in 2002 continued his carrier as a Quality Assurance Manager at Lavipharm. In 2015, he was promoted to his current position as a Quality Director.
